The books are here! I received my shipment, and have been scheduling book signings and author meet and greets. Saturday I will be signing books at the Book Barn in Leavenworth from 1-4 p.m. If you are the 25th email reply to this newsletter you will receive an autographed copy of the book "Ghosts of Kansas". The books can also be ordered online.

When you are ready for your own ghost experience join Paranormal Adventures USA on a tour or investigation! Our May schedule includes tours in Shawnee, Excelsior Springs and Kansas City, Kansas. All tours feature authentic haunted locations, with at least two stops off the bus for a "hands-on" ghost experience! Tickets can be purchased online.

Movie Night with Paranormal Adventure Radio

Halite Crystal for Purification
I brought back several beautiful halite chunks from the Underground Salt Mine in Hutchinson. As an amateur geologist, I have always enjoyed gathering rocks and minerals from around the United States. Some enthusiasts believe that halite is a purifying mineral that will help remove negative energy and attachments from a space; very useful when removing ghosts from a location. They are for sale online, I have a limited number in stock.

Beth Cooper, a native Kansan, was raised in North Topeka, home of the spectacular ghost dubbed the Albino Lady. She attended school at the University of Oklahoma, finishing her degree in Liberal Arts at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock; she focused on history, journalism, and language. Beth hosts an online radio show “Paranormal Adventure Radio” and owns Paranormal Adventures USA, a tourism business that focuses on ghost tours and events in the Midwest. She lives in Topeka, Kansas with her husband Jim Meyer.

March is going out like a lion, but it is warm and wonderful!

I spent the weekend researching for the haunted wineries tour. A favorite stop was at Bristol Ridge in Montserrat. Located in an old water tower, the winery sits on the highest point of Johnson County, Missouri. During the war, Union soldiers used this hill as a lookout point. The owner shared some ghost stories with us, including a tale of ghostly children laughing and whispering voices. My favorite wine from the list was Diamond; very light and refreshing. I look forward to exploring the other tour stops!

Memorial Hall Ghost Investigation
Our next paranormal investigation will be April 10 at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. This is an authentic investigation guided by PRI and Nick Spantgos at one of the most haunted places in Kansas. Tickets are available online.

Lemp Mansion Tops Missouri Most Haunted List

Most Haunted Locations in Missouri
Ghost Tours of Missouri today announced the top 5 most haunted places in Missouri.

"Each year we select the locations based on the quality of evidence and personal accounts of hauntings," said Beth Cooper,
owner of Ghost Tours of Missouri, "for 2010 the Lemp Mansion tops the list as most haunted".

The Lemp Mansion, a former brewery in St. Louis, is well-known by ghost enthusiasts as an extremely haunted building. Built
in the 1860's, the mansion has seen its share of tragedies, including death by suicide. Nick Spantgos, co-founder of
Paranormal Research Investigators (PRI), recorded an impressive amount of evidence at the location.

"We documented strange environmental changes and recorded unusual noises in the attic and closet," explained Spantgos,
"the most interesting activity was a fan that moved without reason or explanation.”

Other investigators have confirmed paranormal activity, enough so that the owners now offer ghost tours of the building.

"Because of the dramatic history of Missouri, it is no surprise that there are so many haunted locations," said Cooper,
"people are fascinated by ghosts, and enjoy the thrill of the paranormal."
